• Lovely pale straw colour. Nose decidedly tropical with quince, golden delicious apples, litchi, mango, and summer melon flavours. Good weight and balance on the palate, layered with minerality on the finish. The wonderful mouthfeel that typifies ripe Chenin Blanc has already started to develop and will increase in the next 12 – 24 months.   • Mouth filling flavours of sub- tropical fruits including melon, lychees, passion fruit, ripe nectarine flesh , with intense pink grapefruit and fresh limes on the finish. In its youth, flavours are fresh and zesty with a broad mineral textured base and over time will settle into flinty and wet limestone character reminiscent of Sancerre styled character. The wine will age well for up to 5-8 years. Serve chilled with green asparagus, scallops, grilled line fish, prawns, sushi and Thai infused fare.  
  • The tannin and acid structure are medium, and colour is lighter than for other reds. The flavour profile includes red fruits like strawberry, raspberry, cherries and Turkish delight. There is an element of herb like organum and cinnamon. The talc-like tannin texture will soften over time. Primary red fruit and spice will become more savoury and gamey as the wine matures. Maturation should peak in 8 to 10 years. Serve at 140 to 160 Celsius. Classically inspired Spanish fare like fish paella; barbequed vegetables with cumin, soya and Asian 5spice; thick cuts of tuna steaks barbequed and Chinese food.
  • Layered and textured truffle savouriness and earthy forest floor interwoven with concentrated black cherry compote harmoniously supported by mineral textured tannins. Although the wine is approachable at its primary stage with fresh cherry and red berry components evident at youth, the wine will age for at least 10 years where primary components will evolve to tertiary forest floor, truffle, earthy and savoury notes that are typical in great Burgundy examples.
  • Fresh notes of citrus blossom, gooseberry, lemon, nectarine, melon, and fleshy pear. Some dried oregano and sage to garnish. The palate is broad yet elegant with stone fruit notes carrying through from the nose. A bright acidity supports and lengthens a creamy finish. Perfectly paired with veal, pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc), poultry.  
  • Notes of freshly picked cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and red plum are well complimented by a savoury Parma like salinity and roasted cherry tomatoes. A bright and vibrant wine with soft textured powdery tannins. Perfectly paired with rare steaks, roasted game birds (or wild boar), rich chicken or mushroom dishes.
  • Elegant and Finely Poised. Clean and fresh flavours of Lemon, bruised GrannySmith Apple, Strawberries, and Citrus Blossom. The palate is lean, mineral, and flinty with a distinctive Oyster-shell savoury quality. A bright acidity cuts through a creamy subtle brioche note on the breadth of the palate, lengthening the exhilaration of this fine-beaded euphoria. Perfectly paired with Shrimp and shellfish, smoked salmon, caviar, fried calamari, and oysters.
  • Pale gold in colour with vibrant green tinge. Lemon blossom and mandarin notes combine on the nose, while a touch of brioche hints at barrel fermentation. Lively acidity and lemon zest add zip to the palate after which white peach lead into a generously round mid palate. The finish is taut and crisp leaving one with a clean, mineral lift.   • Medium ruby, with dark pink rim. Strawberry and damson with subtle cardamon notes that typify the variety. Engaging notes of fresh berries and dark plums add immediate appeal. The medium palate shines with satin texture and beautifully refined tannin and then leads to long tapering finish leaving pleasant echoes of raspberry and plums.   • The Luddite Saboteur Red style is unashamedly new world. 60% Shiraz, 15% Grenache Noir, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Mourvèdre. It is crunchy, juicy fruit balanced by vibrant tannins. The red blend will always be Shiraz driven with a Rhone slant. What makes it different is that the Cabernet Sauvignon is too damn good to leave out! Vibrant fruit on mid-palate. Medium structured with a long elegant refreshing finish. Whether enjoyed alongside Grilled meats, Hearty stews, or Aged cheeses, this versatile red wine complements a wide range of flavors.
  • Chenin Blanc based blend with different percentages of Viognier and Blanc Fumé. This blend is 77% Chenin Blanc, 13% Blanc Fumé and 10% Viognier. A rich mouthfeel with subtle tannins and pithiness from skin contact. White peach, honey blossoms with a salty and herbaceous finish.  
  • The 2021 Thamnus Chardonnay is powerful and sleek. Notes of cool citrus, almond paste and peach flirt on the nose, combined with fragrant spice. The body is rich and textured, offering pure lemon and lime, supported by finely balanced French oak. The firm acidity carries the powerful fruit and an elegant long, sumptuous finish. Drink to 2029.
