THE FAMILY CONNECTION

Bubbles

Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) is a traditional method of producing sparkling wine, similar to Champagne in France. MCC wines are made using the same labor-intensive and precise techniques as Champagne, including secondary fermentation in the bottle. South African MCC has gained recognition for its quality and has won numerous international awards, making it a delightful and cost-effective alternative to Champagne for sparkling wine enthusiasts.

Chenin Blanc

Originating from France, the Chenin Blanc grape has become South Africa’s most widely planted varietal. With the advent of new technologies and fermentation techniques, our Chenin Blancs have become the gold standard for the wine drinker interested in a clean, fresh and lightly tropical jolt of taste.

Pinotage

South Africa is also home to the Pinotage grape. Created in 1924 by a South African viticulturist, Pinotage was originally the result of a blend between Hermitage and Pinot Noir. Since those days in the early twentieth century, Pinotage has evolved to become the sophisticated robust red it is today.

Rosé

What makes South African Rosé wines unique is the use of a wide variety of grape cultivars, including Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Grenache, to create a diverse range of Rosé styles. Whether you prefer a fruity and floral Rosé or a more robust and structured one, South Africa offers a Rosé to suit every palate.
