The predominance of the Sémillon in this blend opens with floral notes – honeysuckle, citrus blossom, and violets, while elegant fruity notes of white pear and green apple follow. Rich and deep aromas of bramble, blackcurrant, black cherry, and capsicum meet the nose with subtle hints of sticky toffee. The palate is lush with the black fruit flavours following through and rounding off with tobacco and star anise. Textured finish with velvety tannins.

This 2025 Rotsbank bottling displays gunflint and seaweed aromas with tropical granadilla secondary flavours. There is a line of green tea, and the tannin dries out at the end of the palate. This year is marked by incredible length and elegance on the palate. It is one of the wines that can be slightly reduced and shy on release, and we recommend that the wine be allowed to aerate if opened early. It is a very linear and firm style of Chenin. .

Lovely pale straw colour. Nose distinctly fresh with hints of peach and lime with a gentle oak influence. The palate has a good weight with some minerality and a long finish. Excellent balance between fruit and oak flavours. R10 from every bottle of the Conservation Collection sold will go to the Boucher Legacy.
